PICO Popper, green frog with the yellow bucktail tail hook... Used to fill the live well with quality on these. Triva question... PICO stood for Padre Island Bait Company.

Somebody got the old Fliptail Lizard molds and made some for a while I'm pretty sure. I wonder where the molds are now?

Looks like it. I have one black one left, but don't ever fish with it. That was my all time favorite top water bait back in the day. Used to pond hop when I was a kid and wear em out on that Pico Pop.

2-1/2" Storm Thunderstick. Chrome/black back. I've caught everything on them, including some huge bass when the conditions were right.

Norman frontrunners are still made I just bought some brand new this year. I don't remember which website I found them on. But they weren't hard to find.

And the Original Ring Worms are also still being made but are hard to find. I have a local bait shop here in Missouri that still has the contact. I just picked some up in my colors I use earlier in the year.

Big Milo. They were too thin and the plastic would break allowing water to leak into the bait; but boy will they catch big bass in the grass.

What's this?

Bagley tin foil shad and the rest of the 1980 crank bait line.

One you build and fish with your own hand built custom rod you will fish with nothing else!

who Bill Wilcox? I know I have like 50 of the chart pepper and 25 of the watermelon red....I have kicked myself for not buying more before BPS quit making them....

but here is a decent knock off...

I miss these baits...I think I was 9 or 10 but that's the only bait I can remember my dad putting on a carolina rig. The chartreuse pepper is a beast for post spawn fish.

but they are probably going to make changes and it won't be the same! I've got a pretty good stock between me and my dad (who was smart enough and buy most of the remaining stock from fliptail). There is one place you can still get some but they don't have the good old black color which is the best! Place in shreveport was making them for a while in watermelon red and those were killer as well but they quit. I've caught a ton of fish on them in the last year or so around here since no one throws them anymore, caught some on Monticello a few weeks back smile

those 4in lizards with yellow or white dots on the back bring back some great memories of Toledo Bend in the buck brush in our pirogues catching tons of fish while the bass boats had to watch us because they couldn't get in smile
