Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I've got a rod that needs replacing and was wondering if any you have had experience with ProAngler rods. I was thinking about getting an 8 footer for slip-cork fishing, but would also use it for tight-lining as well. The main thing(s) I am worried about is the sensitivity and durability of these rods. Thanks for any suggestions.

You got nothing to worry about when it comes to sensativity and quality in that pole.

Clay for the money they're the best. The 8 footer is a great selection. You wont be sorry!

No complaints from me. They are plenty of bang for the buck.

Thanks for the info guys. I bought a set of Bee readys from Ed last year and have been very happy with them. He told me several times how good the rods are, but I also wanted feedback from people who have used them for a while.

I use one as well, but for slip/bobber fishing I would select another rod. The 8 foot rod is great for timber and bridges.

I have been using them for the last 4 years. They are great poles. I use mostly the 8 foot poles but also like the 9 foot pole. Haven't had any problems with them. Tough and sensitive. I also have two of the catfishing poles.

I would suggest you get one and give it a try. I have 3-8' rods and ain't had a problem. All 3 are 2-3 years old. Good rod for a good price. Caught many a fish on them. I have such confidence in the PA's that I ordered 2 of the new 6.5 footers from Ed the other day. thumb

I own 2 Pro Angler rods (one w/ cork handle and one w/o) and I won't leave home without them. I prefer them over my Wally Marshall rods because they are a little stiffer with allows me to get a really good hook set when jigging. 8'-10' w/ cork handle highly recommended for the cost.
