 How do I attach the BASS membership patch to my life jacket?

I want to attach my BASS membership patch to my life jacket but am not sure how to do this. Is it an iron on patch or a sew on patch?

Patch Attach. Put something between the iron and patch, and on the underside so the innertube that inflates doesn't get hot.
