A circle le hook usually ends up in the corner of the mouth and the fish will not likely swallow it.

Cabela's has the gama octopus circles in 7/0. I bought 4 packs two weeks ago.

Hi Butch,

If you are having a hard time finding a hook you might try the DOUBLE ACTION hooks from Team Catfish. We don't have a 7/0, but we have an 8/0 and a 5/0.

You can set the hook. Let the fish hook themselves or just reel down and get um. They just work.

Here is the proof...

Bass Pro sells the Mustad Ultra Demon in 10/0 in bulk packs and they also have the Daiichi Circle Chunk Light (no bulk packs though).

Both are excellent hooks.

Hound I fish Belton all the time.
Willing to help you out when I can.
Most of the time I fish with punch bait.
