Some just dump them on the side of the road. I believe the city dump will take them not sure. Try calling around and find a boat junk yard.
Yes I did admit defeat. Good job back to back champion

Some lakes use them for diving/rescue training. Might ask around. They are also great artificial reefs for holding fish.
Now, Donald...please pick John Bolton for your running mate.

I know the dump in Alvardo would take them, but they had to be stripped down to the fiberglass hull. No engine, no gas tank, etc...

The dump in Ferris will take it. I had to cut one in half before they would take it. Do not remember the disposal fee.

A few years back a friend of mine took his to Lake Grapevine. Shot several holes in it. Dragged it to the center of the lake and turned it loose. 2 weeks later he got a call from the Game warden telling him to get his boat out of the lake. It had floated back up and was on the shore...lol

You have to be careful about how you dispose of a boat. Several things come into play, one, illegal dumping, two, poluting our waterways, three, by burning it polutes our atmosphere, four, illegal sinking into corps lakes or lakes that are power plant coolant water......etc,etc,etc. I almost was fined $20,000 by EPA for accidently allowing a boat to catch on fire. Most sanitary landfills will allow what is called, 'the thousand year plan' to be dumped and charge you more than that of a normal construction or household garbage. Sometimes if you advertise, FREE on Craiglist, someone can use or will at least take them from you..... Just be careful and don't do anything illegal.

P.S. One last thing. If you do not have a title for the boat. Then by the strictest letter of the law. You cannot give it away, sell it, part it out, or distroy it by any means. As you are giving, selling, parting out, distroying STOLEN property because you are not the owner and you cannot show ownership. Only the rightful owner can do anything that is mentioned above. If the rightful owner has left it on your property, he could come back at a later date and demand resitution in an amount of whatever he deams fair value.

Just dump it in the Trinity like this guy did. The trailer was a mile upstream, hanging in trees.
