I've had great luck with Vicious 6#. Hi Vis yellow is on my dock shooters so it rubs wood a lot. No break-off's yet unless I burry the jig hook in a post or brush.

I like Ande lo-vis green in the big spool. Low cost to keep it fresh. It's a good all-around line IMHO and it's not expensive but I use it for everything not just crappie. Even though crappie and bass are not known to be line shy I still think it's an advantage to have line that doesn't show up underwater. Ande is kind of hard though and gets stiffer in really cold weather.

P-line Flouroclear is what I use. it's a copolymer so it's really strong and abrasion resistant.

Stren XL is what I use, might not be the strongest but it gets the fish in.

i used mr crappie hi viz for years but the creek i fish has a whole bunch of new snags . i was sitting in my truck one day and remembered i had some 30 lb braid that had snapped on 4 different fish ( carp ) and stored it in the garage . then i went and sub spooled with it and really like it , so much that i spooled some on my second crappie set up . it keeps me from having to buy jigs over and over and the sensistivity is still there !
P.B. Carp ....29 lbs .... P.B. Buffalo 34.4

I'm no expert by any means, but this fall I switched one jiggin pole over to 10#/4#dia Fireline. After the first trip I switched two other rigs over to it as well. I really like it, it's much more sensitive than the P-Line CX I was using......I still use the CX on a dock shooter though.

-LP I have Fireline on all my jig poles. Sure has helped me feel more taps.
