My buddy and I caught around 20 in a couple of hours late this afternoon... Here are two of the bigger ones.

[img:center][/img]

The bigger ones were sitting around 4'-5' deep in one ofthe channel bends. Tried my new Slab Bandits and caught most of mine on Texas Toast. My buddy was using Bobby Garland Blue Ice.

When taking a kid fishing, it is a privilege to share in his or her life. Make it the best experience you can by slowing it down and taking the time to teach. The littlest things will stick for life.

Yep, I used to fish with the FRBC Bass Club... I've gotten the crappie fever and haven't been bass fishing since I returned from Afghanistan in 2008.

I may start back fishing tournaments one of these days, but for now, I'd rather go crapie fishing!

Is this creek bank accessible or have to get in by boat?

There's a bridge that you can fish around, but if you go past the fences on each side, the game warden will write you a trespassing ticket.
