My son (who is in from college) and I are going to hit one of them tomorrow or Tuesday. I just can't decide which one to go to! I know they are not very far from each other but I would rather stay with one lake. I have been keeping up with reports on here from both so it makes it hard. I have a couple of spots on Monti (mostly community stuff) and really none on Welsh. We both love swimbaits so hope to get in that action. Thanks!!!

Flip a coin, you can't go wrong with either one.

I would start off at Monti and move to Welsh in the afternoon if it's slow. If you aren't looking for giants and more numbers I would do Welsh.
