I'm looking to head out to CC later this week with my father in law & brother in law. I would like to put them on some good whites & hybrids if possible. I havnt been on CC in about 3yrs. Does anyone have any advice that might help us find & catch a few fish? I appreciate any advice that anyone is willing to lend.

Whites have been holding on Merimac Point and the 2 humps SW from the point about 300 yds away. Saint Annes Point East and West have also been holding fish. Look near the bottom in 16 to 23 ft. There has also been some bird action so keep alert for that. Good luck!

Dennis is right on. I found big, fat sandies all over the southern part of the lake. If you have fish CC before, go to places you have found fish before. More than likely, you will find sandies there.
For hybrids, look for bird activity and surface action. With all the Loons and cormorants chasing shad, they fool you into believing there are fish present. Sometimes fish are present, but most times it is a giant fake out because the loons are feeding on the plentiful shad.
Good luck, Karry
PS. I will be out there Thursday afternoon with refugees who are land locked by lack of water.

Gonna be wet Friday, of course that won't affect the fish none. But you can't be a fair weather fisherman. Get wet and catch fish.

Hello Karry - stuck here in Ft Worth, hoping to get out next weekend to check out the house and do some fishing. We had some nice rain here this week, did it make it out there? Tom
