What length would be best on a Skeeter SX190 ? I think the boat is 18.5' long. They have 6,7 and 8 foot Keel Shields on Ebay for $79.

What's the best kind for the money and how hard are they to put on?

Hamby professionally installed..well worth the $$. I currently have a KeelShield that I installed by myself with my teenage son on a HydraSport 2300CC ..heavy hull ..beach her often. The only difference between performance and overall experience is my time spent and the $$ I saved. I also have large numbers of attractive women ask me," hey, are you the stud that installed that KeelShield by himself?!!" and I get to answer in the affirmative.
