Nice catch. Glad to see you harvested the crappie to reduce some pressure on the forage base. This lake lost a lot of the forage base this spring due to the tremendous flooding. We have been working on rebuilding it. There are some really good fish in this lake. The fish on the left in the pics had a coot in its belly.

Nice folks that own that place I always look forward to electrofishing there.

Thanks for all the nice comments, was a day we will not soon forget. We have had the opportunity to fish this lake three times now and have never been disappointed.

You have done an awesome job with this lake. It may have lost a lot of forage base when it flooded, but the big fish definitely stayed in there. We did notice that the larger bass looked a little skinny. Most of the bass were caught near the sunken timber along the creek bed in the upper end of the lake. I know ya'll don't want them in there, but please don't pull the crappie out when you elctrofish, call me instead!! I am happy to harvest them, and am good at culling small bass as well:)
