The standard bracket to connect direct to a flat transom is included but if you want to mount off motor bolts or jackplate you need the extra bracket.

$1449 for 8ft. Bracket is separate. Miinkota website has good info on how to measure for tht correct bracket. Heres where I got mine: Talon Free shipping and no sales tax.
