I entered the boater side for all three but havent received anything saying if I got in yet or not.

All three are new water for me so will be a challenge. I look forward to it if I get in.

I fished them all this past season as a co-angler and I was pretty impressed with the quality of anglers involved. I drew some great boaters and some that were marginal at best. However, most of my better success came fishing with the marginal ones's because the great one's were like vacuum cleaners up there. The best thing you can really hope for is whoever you draw is not really on anything and running water. If he is keyed in on brushpiles off the bank, be ready for a long day of getting front-ended because you are going to have very few casting opportunities. Happened to me Day 1 of the Texoma event.. The guy I drew hit offshore brush and isolated creek stumps ALL DAY. Hey got five bites and I got zero(excluding the 5# drum I caught).. Not my cup of tea but you know what you sign up for

I have signed up for all three as well.. Tournament directors are telling the pros to have someone in mind that is willing to sign up for co angler to guarantee entry on the pro side.

I signed up as co-angler for Lewisville but won't know if I am in until after the first of the year.
I would like to do it just once for the experience.

Shoot, just pay your entry on the boater side and see how you do. I know personally I don't feel ready to be a boater in that trail yet but to those that do I wish you well. If I ever step up I want to be able to be competitive and not just say I fish the boater side.

Ha ya right. I know I'm not good enough. I'm done with tourneys anyway for now. Except foe the occasional worth tourney or big bass tourney. I'm just a swimbait junkie now looking for 1 bite a day

If you really want to get in let me know.... You do not need to find a boater because its all random computer generated.. You will be paired with a random boater.. But if you want to get in and you use a boaters name with your entry. You will be in the tournament..

I see 2 changes from last year, Price went up 50 bucks, and instead of top 30 making cut to day 3, its just top 12

Probably not guys that are humble and respect this sport.

Looks like they pay down to 40 instead of 50. Harder to get a check, but will pay better at the top.

It will pay better at the bottom as well just not as many spots. Last year 31-50 on the co side was $150 now 31-40 will receive $350.

Now that's the attitude of a winner.

This is not directed at every co-angler.....just the ones that want to judge whether the guy on the front of the boat is worthy or not.

Making the jump to go into the Opens on the Pro side is a decision that lots of weekend tournament anglers make every year. The pressure of fishing new water, traveling out of state, taking the time off to prefish and try to do their best, driving all night on Friday night to get to a ramp on Saturday morning to fish all day until dark and again on Sunday and drive back home to get there in time to shower and go to work 2 to 3 weekends in a row prior to a tournament is a commitment.

Not to be rude, but whether you think they were good enough to fish at that level is the furthest thing from the mind of an angler that is challenging himself/herself to move to a new level. You don't get better by staying at a club level. You get better by fishing new water that makes you learn new techniques and putting your skills up against some of the best that there is in the sport.

If you want to complain about your experience in the back of the boat, then step on up and get on the front deck.
