We hit the water at 6:30 and had 9 of the best looking springtime catfish I have seen in some years. They where all fat & sassy. we used cut bait & punch bait and fished in 2 to 3 feet of water. we got off the water at 11:30 am so we could get some rest in all we landed 27 cats 19 blues and 8 channel. The blues went from 3 to 26 pounds and the channel cats went form 1 to 7 pounds. The Spring Catfishing is here !!! ------------------ Fish On Gota Run !! Any hints on where you caught them? Probably going after them on Thursday. I'm looking for a good area to Jugline on Hubbard too.

Can you catch these same type of cats from the bank at Ray Hubbard. If these fish were caught in 2 - 3 ft of water, they have to be close to the bank right.

We caught them off Robertson park point. Yes you can get to them from the bank as well.

Thanks Greg, I hope you know how much it means to us for a guide to help regular guys like us. I don't get to fish as much as I'd like so I depend on information I get here. I for one want to say thanks! If your out at Ray Hubbard Saturday look me up I'll be in a blue and white Center Console. I look foward to meeting you and again thanks for sharing. Shorty
