I have been catching a ton of undersized catfish with a keeper 1 out of 10 fish. I have fished everywhere from about 7 to 25 feet. I catch mostly channel cats but they are tiny.

Go shallow young man, go shallow. laugh

Seven feet is likely too deep.

This time of year I'm looking for water so shallow that when I set the hook they explode into a tail walk like one of those green lipped sucker mouth trash fish will.

We have caught fish shallow and deep. We have been pulling out some good numbers in 20-40ft. Most of the fish ranging between 3 to 8lbs. Catching the blues under the whites.

In LL they seem to be real scattered right now!
