Get to come home and not go back to Louisiana . I'm on my way home now sure been a rough month and half can't wait to get on the water

Glad to have you back. Was out on Limestone Saturday (18th). We caught 6 Cats (had 7, but it got off the jugline before I had the dipnet). 3 Blues, biggest was 25.25# & next size was 9.25# & then 2.688#. Two nice sized Channels- 5.75# & 4.875#. 1 Op at 12.125#.
Total was 3 ounces shy of 60#. So that is a 10# average on that catch. Plus we caught another Grenald at 5.375#.
When we first headed out, it was breezy but could still check lines easily. Then the wind almost stopped while on the bottom of the lake. It got really nice.
Oh, that reminds me. I've alerted Robert (1 of the Lake Rangers) that there is a floating submerged tan/beige/khaki colored metal 55 gallon drum between our trotline near the dam & the BRA & GW station on the western side. Of course it could have drifted here & there due to winds. So if you head out in your boat, be careful. If you hit that thing, it could flip a boat (or damage one).
