I have the contact info for some of the longtime guides like Larry Barnes and the Stevenson's but would love to get some contact info on any others that you guys may think of. I mostly want to speak with the guides that were there in the first 10-15 years or so. Working on a project/article and need to contact a few of them to get some background. Thanks for any help you guys may offer.

Kerry Stafford was there in the beginning. I still think one of the top guides on the lake. I had a standing monthly trip with him from the 80's till he retired from guide service. In fact he and I were fishing together during one of your filmings when you fell in the lake... He was one of the main contributors to the Martin's map on CD. You can find him on facebook, or if you want him cell number, let me know and I'll send it to you.

Dang it,

I forgot to mention Gene Snider and David Vance. Does anybody know if Gene ever figured out how to fish a Crankbait? LOL!

Also,

Ed has a bunch of old Fork maps and stuff down at his lake house. Alot of the guides used to buy an advertisement spot on those maps. I'll try to get down there one day this week and get that info for you - that will even have old phone numbers.

Speaking of numbers, alot of the stuff that Ed has still has the phone numbers listed when most of this area was still in the 214 area code.

Ronnie Byrd was one of the best big fish guys I ever fished with, but no longer have his contact info, Mark.

Al Reynolds was a great one, too. Frank West was around back then. Johnny Glass has been there a long time.

Then there was that tall guy, black hair and mustache that guided out of that little aluminum rig. Night fished a lot. Kind of a "different" gentleman. Name escapes me at the minute. I belive he caught a 14# night fishing in the mid-late 80's.

Bruce Benedict did some guiding, and I would think Ken Addington will be able to think of some of the originals that haven't been mentioned.

Another is Dennis Canada and he's still around. Actually bought a rifle scope from Dennis on here anout a year ago. I can get his contact info if you can't find it, Mark.

Fishinguide-Tony Clark has been around a looooooong time too, as have Marcell Bryson, Dean Stroman, Skeeter Fowler.

There are a bunch more I can't remember off the top of my head.
