I hit Bardwell today in a couple spots that have always produced (in my limited experience), and didn't get a nibble in 4 hours. I went through my ritual of soured grain and sureshot, to no avail. Have the channels come off the bite or headed for deeper water? I'm fairly new at the catfish game so I'm not too familiar with patterns and behavior based on temp.

I think for the next coupla week's they will still be in transition. Sure you can still get a bite off the bank in Winter just not in high #'s. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

In the winter, just move to deep water.

Fish the side of the lake that has been hit by wind for a few days. Try to use some form of cut fish if you can get it. If the weather warms at all during the period the fish are going to be shallow enough to get from the bank. During this warm spell coming up fish the north side of the lake since we are going to have a south wind.
