go to corpusfishing.com and you can see where the pompano are being caught right now. we catch a ice chest full every time we go to bob hall pier on padre island right there at corpus. all yr long. back in may of this yr we came home with 19 pompano and just about as many spanish mackeral. had a great time. been trying to go again but right now we are finally repairing all the damage from hurricane ike that hit us in 2008. insurance company fianlly settled with us so it looks like right now we will have to wait til sometime in january to go again
