I would probably use the babys in all of my local lakes, but I may use the big ones when I go to my private lake in Palestine, because it produces some big bass. All T-rigged

I do not peg the weight, unless i positivly have too. You loose some action on the bait if you peg the weight.

It your flipping thick grass sometimes its neccesary though.

Most of the time I don't peg. Use 1/8 oz. weight with a gammy 2/0 hook. Green pumpkin, Rootbeer with green pepper flakes, watermelon candy, and watermelon blue are my favorites with baby brush hog.

Ya know how the Senko has a bunch of imitators like the dinger, the zero, the stik-o and etc... and we call all of them senko-type baits? Is it the same with brush hogs? I've seen a lot of plastics that look very similar to the brush hogs made by different brands.

Question. Do any of you break loose the small arms at the front of brush hogs?? If you do which way, at the front or the back?
