I'm thinken about fishing my first trail series as a boater and I have a question. How do you guys split the cost with the non-boater? There will be 5 events @ 150.00 per team & 30.00 each person for membership. Do you just split 50\50 & non-boater pitch in for gas?

Me personally if its a team event then everything is 50/50 but if its a draw tournament I never accept any gas money or any offerings at all. Not saying that it is bad or anything if a boater does but I do not. Just my .02
And good luck fishing your first trail its very addicting

Eaisest thing to do is to split everything down the middle 50/50. Keep records.

We usually fish out of my partner boat,,so we split the entry fee and boat gas,,i pay the parking fee,, i always give him 40.00 extra for the truck and whatever,,

I'm a non boater and Bruce hit it right on. Depending on your tournaments gas would eat any winnings up if you had to pay for it by yourself.
