As usually happens this time of year, guide trips slow up. So Benny and I have had some time to 'just go fishing', and Grapevine has not disappointed us. We are catching crappie from 20' to 35', and while there have been a few smaller fish in the catch, most fish have been really good averaging 1 - 1 1/2#. We're still catching some on jigs on our deeper brushpiles, but each week we're getting more fish on minnows slow trolled in deeper water. All parts of the lake are still producing, but most of our fish are coming from the deeper areas like, north shore bluffs, along the dam, and in the creek channels. If you wanna get in on some early winter catching, give us a call.

Guy,
I wish you continued success on the water. It appears you're finding it too. I will always be thankful for the memories created while fishing with you at Cedar Creek. Absolutely priceless.
Happy holidays to you and your crew!
Jeff
