Learned about this in 2007, and was registered for the HBC-3 event on Amistad, which got canceled due to the economy.
However, I don't see why Texas couldn't host a few, especially on Amistad and Falcon.

Nothing new about one Bass tourneys, First one I fished in and won was in about 1974 held on Toledo Bend and hosted by KYKX radio, I still have a copy of the 6,200.00 check in my trophy case. Now limiting the entries may be new I really don't know,
