Need some tips for Amastad in January. it will be my first time to go anybody know some tips and tricks they are willing to let loose?

If it were me, I would go to Falcon, but if you choose Amistad, call Carl Wengenroth at Anglers Lodge. We stayed there last September, and they also have a great tackle shop, and can even pour plastics to your special order. Great people to deal with and Carl will help you out. 830-775-1586

Man there is a guide down there named Ray Hanselman! He is the nicest guy in del rio...that speaks english... He gave me some fun fishin help over the phone...the next day he called me from the water and said 'you aint where I told you to be' and waited for me to drive from mouth of devils to mid lake then gave me waypoints! If you are looking for a guide take this guy!
