I have never been before but from the looks of it on google maps (satellite view), it seems like there is no road just all beach. Google maps shows hw 87 going in the water so i was just wondering if you can drive all the up the beach from High Island north on 87? Or do people drive the other way from Port Arther and go south on 87?

Thanks in advance

Go thru Pt. Arthur. The road will end at the TPWD and Sea Rim Park. You can turn left at the barricade and you are on the beach. Going thru HI would take a while unless you have plenty of time and a good 4x4. I am not recommending this to anyone unless there are more than 1 vehicle going

To pass more on to my two kids than was passed onto me.

I've heard of people driving all the way to the Sabine Jetties.
