Just thought I'd post a couple of the Hybrids I caught this afternoon, no big monsters, but still nice fish

Nice Hybrids guys. The Leadbetter Legend catching all the Big Hybrids up North? And the Legend strikes again! I havn't been on the lake since last Monday.

Sat on our dock at Eagles Bluff on Friday and watched the gulls really working a couple of spots just south of the 155 bridge. Too rough to get after them but looked like good schools. Finally got out a little on Saturday and found the sandies at the mouth of Ledbetter just south of small island. No hybrids but nice sized sandies. Nice bunch of evening schoolers for the last week out in front of Cumberland Ridge homes with a few small hybrids mixed in. Like clock work they are there at 430pm and stay up for about an hour.

Well I'm a little late updating the board this week, but here it is after two weeks in this segment. Only had three fish submitted since the last update, but The Leadbetter Legend has posted a big fish and took over the lead. Martyk8 has also got into into the 3 Fish Total now and moved into 2nd in that category. I know it's a pain in the posterior to take time to snap pictures guys but lets get some on here!

Finally got out on the lake today and man was it a rough one, too rough for my little ole flat bottom boat. I did manage to catch 3 hybrids and some sandies. The largest one (pictured below) was 23.5" caught at 1:30 about 200-300 yds north of the 155 bridge using a TNT slab. I should have never went that far north, waves were too high, but that is where I caught most of my fish today.

Don't have any measured pics from today, but we got into them really good today on Palestine. Caught fish in 16 to 24' of water. Lots of birds working, but big fish were down deep.I'll have some pics to follow... [url=][/url]

Man, Saturday was one of the best days I've had on Palestine. Yall need to be out there deadsticking. It sure was easy yesterday.

Don't sell yoursef short Jeff. You've become well versed in the art of deadsticking. If I get you anywhere close to fish you're burying a hook in them. It's been a while since I just got tired of catching. Some of the best fishing of the year is happening right now. Back to Tawakoni for me.

I know I haven't updated lately but my wife had surgery on the 10th so I've been busy taking care of the honey-do's and housework while she was recuperating...glad that's over! There have only been two fish submitted since the last update, even though "someone" got into a bunch but didn't take any pics LOL!
