is that on trot lines or jugs? I dont want to steal any secrets just wandering what the best route is. Ive been fishing mainly open water and would like to try getting on rivers.

jugs work good but i never like to leave them alone to long. We usually set out jugs the fish with rod and reel in between running the jugs.

most people around here just use throw lines and trot lines along the banks with good results.
