Making a trip to Buchanan next weekend....water temp is still 68 degrees! Guess ill def be drifting.....anyone got any tips on the lake?
I'm gonna miss her....

If you fish the upper end at all, pay attention to the weather forecast. It doesn't take much wind to make Buchanan rougher than all get out. You won't notice it until you come back out in the main part of the lake. It can make for a hard ride to the ramp.
I'd drift around Garret Island and back toward the Burnet County side.

Try the upper end near the mouth of the river, close to the peach orchard, or around Garret Island. Good luck.

oh.....zac-off, on my "team", there happens to be a couple of young men i have known and coached for a very long time that mean a lot to me. I find it highly offensive for them to be attacked by someone who has never met them. You are in the wrong forum for this kind of behaviour! grow up punk

Alright now guys, it the holiday season lets act like it. Zac02, the ... thing I understand why you did it. But to let you know there was several on here who put that in every thread on each forum just to bump post numbers. Everyone got real fed up with seeing that in every post. So that why. Most people use "bump" TTT (to the top) or something, that way everyone has an idea. Keith, come one bro!
