What do you guys look for while drifting for big blues in the winter? Main lake points? Creeks? Flats? All of the above? You have mentioned 30-40 feet deep. How deep do you run your baits? I primarily fish Buchanan and know of some good open water humps where I catch stripers. Would this be a good cat spot in the winter? Thanks.

I fish the main channel and channel ledge. start on one side of the channel ledge and drift to the other side of the channel ledge. I also fish Buchanan. Go up the tow river portion and fish the coves. Some of the big coves are 25-30 feet deep. I havent had very good luck fishing the main channel at buchanan I think its to deep. Good luck.
