Had my perch/minnow trap set out in the local river by my house. Go out last night to check it and there was about 8 perch in it. Go to check it today and it's gone! They just can't leave anything alone! Watch out guys!

The funny thing is, I turned one of my old coon traps into the bait fish trap.

It's ashame how time changes. I can remember years back you could set jug lines out and the last thing you would think of is one being taken. Now it is a 50/50 Chance that one or more will be taken. I guess the best advice is to watch your gear the best you can. Stay safe and keep fishing.

Very true. The next one I set out will be chained and locked to the bridge. At least that way they only take the bait.

thieves suck. I have a buddy that lives in fort worth and he got so mad after someone stole his little girls bicycle off their front porch. He put up a video camera. He took an old toolbox and filled it with just some of the most absolutely nastiest stuff old rotten food, chicken liver, ect. and set it out in front of his house. 3 hours later a van pulls up and 2 guys get out throw it in the van and take off then the van slams on the brakes and 5 guys jump out puking their guts out. He also has set out a weed eater with a 10 ft. chain on it and a guy comes by picks it up and takes off running and the slack runs out of the chain and knocks him on his can, lol.

Released the fish, posted the name on the jug but no takers.
