We'll be launching out of Hickory Creek Park on Saturday December 18th at first safe light. Weigh-in will be at 3 PM.
Next club meeting will be on Tuesday December 14th at 7PM at El Guapos in Denton. This will be an opportunity for new members to join for $10 instead of paying $50 at the ramp.

just a heads up there is a new automated pay box on the service road, just before the rr tracks, they will write tkts, 285.00 from what i here

Question about the launch, it says "Hickory Creek Park", however we tried to find that this past weekend, and it was an RV park with a gated entrance. Down the road was the "Point Vista" launch however which is just a simple boat launch with a fee box. Is that the actual launch location? Thanks

there are several ramps...Arrowhead,Point Vista & one other. which ramp do you speak of? Both ramps listed are great ramps just depends on the wind direction....

Was just wanting to know which ramp the actual tournament on the 18th is meeting at.
We launched from Point Vista the other day, after we went too far down Turbeville road to Sycamore Bend and turned around, then went back to Point Vista road and turned into "Hickory Creek Park" (the park with an actual large wooden sign that says that) where the gate attendant said that park requires an "RV registration", and he pointed me down the road to PV launch instead.
We normally launch on the east side of the lake (live in The Colony) so it was my first trip out there since the 80s. Just wanting to be at the right place on the 18th.

The ramp is Point Vista. We used to call it Hicory Creek ramp.

Lots of fish caught on Lewisville yesterday. Glad the wind held off until today. 13 boats and 8 limits of fish. it took 15lbs to win and Jerry caught a nice 6 pounder to anchor that stringer.

I can't speak for everyone, but I caught mine on a chatterbait moving just fast enough to wobble and bumping it along rocks on a point. Crankbaits also seemed to be the order of the day.
