I just got back from wal-mart were I found these. I had to buy them just so I could post these pics and show them to ya'll. They would probable work for those that don't have the time to make there own. The noodle was $2.34 and the line kit was $1.86. Just thought I'd share....Catfish_addiction

Wonder where they got that idea? Thanks for the post. Can't never have too many jugs.

Well I can tell you that we've had them for close to 2 weeks and have sold a grand total of about 3.

Just curious but how much weight would it take to pull the float under water? My dad has had some big cats that would drag off jugs, just happened to see them surface for a few seconds. And we have never found, maybe someone cut them or got drug to deeper water.

Thanks

These things are 20" long. A reg size pool noodle I think is 5' and they claim the full size noodle will float 300#. The F/S noodle has about a 3/4" hole thru it and this one has a hole maybe 3/8" thru it....

Well I bought five of them and rigged them like Redneck suggested on his website. So far have caught six catfish with them without really getting serious - just setting one or two out before I fished for white bass. Let my buddy use them yesterday and haven't heard from him today yet to get the news. Don't have much experience with jugs to give a good review but they seem to be okay. I will probably modify them to be more of a flagging jug - so far none of these have flagged - just see them moving in the water.

I bought the only one they had this morning. Need to add another hook or two and an anchor weight. These are free floating single hook type, but I like to anchor my juglines. Also two to three hooks per jug. I like the noodle type jugs because they are easy to store your line and the jugs.

I bought a couple and tried them for a few hours Sat. night. Couldn't leave out much, due to bad wind storm. I like them and I like the price. I think most of us have hooks, line and anchors sitting around, so I didn't need anything but the noodles. I would recommend then, since everyone is near a walmart and you wouldn't have to pay for shipping. Just my .02

I suggest you contact mudcat1@sbcglobal.net and buy his flagging jugs.. Fully rigged promptly shipped directly to you. I've used them for over a year and they are a good product.

The whole idea is pretty cool and it probably works, but if we don't buy from the men who sell the products that they make in their own garages through their own sweat then who will? I know it is a lot easier to run down to Walmart and buy ten of these for the cheap price and not have to bother with shipping, but I just hate how the big businesses are running everyone out. Economies of scale I guess. Danny King won't allow Walmart or Target to sell his bait, because he wants to support the privately owned and operated shops. I personally think that is awesome. Anyway, just my opinion.

Well if I remember right the manufacturer told our department manager that when tested they caught a 14 pounder, but I don't know how much they can hold.
