sam, the cats were on a rampage at buffalo saturday, went home with 15 fish from 4 to 8 lbs, on juglines with shad! I could have really loaded up if i would have tried to.

right on!!! you see any ducks out there!! besides the black coots!! looking for some green head mallards!! last few time i been out there scouting all i seen waws those black coots!!

wish i had a boat to set some jug lines, until then i need to just stay on the banks!! next time you go let me know i would love to tag along!

what bait you use??? maybe i should try there!!! any place you would recommend me hitting up there!!

Since you fish in the dark hours, I guess you could fish the river and call me 636-7738 before you leave and check on my progress. I should start checking the jugs at around noon.If they are biting like they were saturday we could fill both our freezers and Jerry's.

Went to Hen bridge yesterday afternoon. S-L-O-W. The one's I kept were in great condition though (4 slabs). Weather was just too nice to be anywhere else.

Hi All!

The first trout stocking at plum lake is scheduled for Dec 2nd then every two weeks thereafter. They take a couple days to start biting so Saturday should be good and will only get better as the fish accumulate. Trout will keep me busy until the Crappie get going good.

My son and I went catfishing at Buffalo and the cats were really off, don't know what happened, I rarely fish for catfish so I'm not familiar with their fall pattern. They were really scattered in different areas and deeper. Only left with five.

thinking about hitting up the river this weekend!!any one game?

Went to the oil rigs at Arrowhead yesterday. Three hours fishing ..2 keepers one small and one pig of a fish. Everyone I talked to had 2's and 3's for the day but I stayed just to stay ( too nice of a day not to be on the water ). Picked up fourteen NICE fish the last hour and then they shut off. What a Day!!

went out to the pier cuz i heard they are back and at the bridge!! but went out sat. was very windy but nothing!!! not even a bite!! maybe i will go out some time this week!!
