What weight rod (MH or H) should you get for a spinnerbait? What length rod is the best for a spinnerbait?

I like a 6'6" when trying to make short, accurate casts. Then a 7' for general purposes. MH is best in my opinion.

I like a 7'2" or 7'3" medium heavy with an extra fast tip.

I like a 7' M. It helps me to be more accurate and also make longer casts. When fishing heavy cover i will switch to a 7' MH.

Heres a meat & potatos question fo-sho well there are really three different spinnerbait presentation types here, first - close combat is best suited for a MH 56 Pistol-grip with either heavy mono or braid for slinging around boat docks or over hanging cover, etc. mid-range ya need a 7 M long butt with 14 to 17lb mono - good for working the outside edges of cover with more open waterthe finally for those days when the fish seem to only bite on a loooooong-cast ya need a stiffer 7 to 76 MH to H with heavy mono or braid so ya can get that hook set way out thereuntil I added the long range stick I cant tell you how many good fish I wound halfway back to the boat only to have them spit the bait at me because I didnt have enough ars to set the hook way out yonder
Owell thats my two-cents anyway

I like a 7 ft for better distance, and a m or mh, just my opinion.

For heavier baits and longer casts I'm thinking braid with a stout 7 ft plus rod. It needs to be treated more like a worm rod with a solid hook set and a strong, fast retrieve.
