Glad you found them Saul. I went this morning early and for four hours fishing, I caught 5 total. Must be the moon.
The cormorants are back but don't know where they are roosting.

This moon phase has everything boogered up! I've been bow hunting last few days and the deer aren't moving in the mornings at all, and one evening I haven't seen anything either. Usually the fish react in the same way. Probably better around mid day to early afternoon.

Grasshoppers: If you could find where that tall grass next to the lakes edge is that is full of grasshoppers, you'd find the catfish stacked up in there. Thanks! Very good info!

shoot strait across the lake mikeyboy start of by the crappie wall and work your way left every 20 min or so throw shad, worms, shrimp.with and without a cork you should get a decent string tonight.saturday early and late are prime for fishing according to my chart's.keep moving till you find them stay in less then 10ft of water and work the edges.good luck!

Well, I just got back with one small cat. I need to go out with someone who knows the lake. Saul, I bought a 15ft basstracker 1984, but everything works, just got to figure out the lake.

I went Thursday AM just as it was getting light. I played around trying to catch some good bait, but gave up with only 3 tilapia. Hoped the cats would be bitting liver. Ended up with about a dozen good cats all caught in 25 to 30' of water. Also caught one hug red at the same spot. Weather was great...a great day on good ol cal. I'm afrid that it's all going to change when that front comes through Sunday.

Went yesterday. It took 5 hours but caught 15 drifting the power lines. Actually, the long point out from the big reed bed just before you get to the power lines. Not a bite at my old haunts-the rip-rap by the tracks and the upper end past the railroad bridge by the cable. I am too slow to change sometimes.
