It is illegal to use a cast net for any reason in a community pond. So He is looking at many tickets. Rod and reel only. Take pictures next time.

Thought I would take my daughters fishing this year. The closest stocking to me is at Bethany Park in Allen. Does anybody know which one is "Pond C"? thanks

They do exist!
Caught 3 at City Park this morning and missed a couple hookups. I heard they just stocked it this morning, no surprise it was late.

Does anybody know which one is "Pond C"? thanks Just look for the pond that is surrounded by fishermen elbow to elbow with rods in hand. You can't miss it. (I think I counted 35 one Saturday in '09)

Glad to hear that you caught some but they did stock them on scedule Friday right at Noon we watched them put them in. My son and I did not share your success today. Tried Super Dupers, Panther Martins, Rooster Tails and Mepps not one bite!?!?!

I caught one trout when I first walked up today in Mesquite. My two boys were able to go with me today. I left my trout with my son so I could get my bucket;and the trout fliped back into the water.I do not know if that was you fast action Rod but a guy walked by at that time with at least four on a stringer.I saw one other stringer on the other side of the lake it might have been catfish though.Wish my two boys could've caught one they are use to catching their limit.Nice night,good to see trout again.

Was doing catch and release, but gave a few of my catches away. Stop by this morning and caught two. The wind shifted direction and the pressure shot up so I left early.

I took all the kiddos out to love park yesterday, we didn't catch chit because they were giving me fits. The two oldest ones mysteriously "forgot" how to use there spinning rods and were frought w/ tangles. They 7 year olds wouldn't keep their hooks in the water and I barely got time to help our 3 year old fish at all much less do any fishing myself.
Then after 30 years of fishing and having never hooked myself I sunk a 14 treble hook all the way to the shank in my thumb and I decided it was time to go. LOL.
