Headed to Braunig tomorrow, ive been told that horse and mule feed or sweet feed is a great chum for cats out there, wondering if anyone has an opinion on this and possibly some more suggestions.

A cat will eat just about anything you throw in the water. It's all in the LOCATION of the baited hole. If they aren't in the vicinity of the area you are baiting, they prob won't be there in thick numbers when you fish it either. When I bait up I'll have more than 1 spot baited just incase

I use soured wheat and it works great. Just don't over feed them. Fish the reed beds and use punch bait on a #6 treble if you have it and just a little chum.
