Serious answer.

It's illegal to have fishing gear in your boat or on your person while scuba gear is in the boat or on your person.

And Mike, please don't advertise the fact you claim to be a Texan, when you offer such "Serious Questions".....Some of us real Texans take offense to such displays of seriousness.

Ernest Where does it say that about fishing gear and scuba gear in the same boat? I have been diving and fishing for over 20 years and have never heard of this rule!
Anyway he was probably diving at Windy Point off of the bank. One of the most popular spots on Travis and they do have some big fish that frequent the area!

Where were you Mike?

I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!

I am a PADI divemaster and have a good buddy that would go out when the whites are schooling and wave a rattle-trap around on the end of a ultralight rig. He said the fight was incredible. Fighting the fish above, around, and under you. Never tried it but it does sound like fun, in some wierd way. Just remember, the University of Texas is in College Station. Texas University is in Austin.

Redneck, the Red River Shootout reference was meant to lighten this thread up, not to provoke anymore "hating"...take a deep breath...relax...enjoy life. Y'all do have Adrian Peterson and he is a darn good back (although he didn't look too good against USC) laugh I dislike OU, but come on Tuck Fexas, you cant be serious???
