Ive been looking to buy this 1999 stratos 21 extreme with a 225 evenrude, has any one owned one, are they a good purchase? possible problems to look for. Any info would help..... THANKS

Is the motor a 99 model? If it is a FICHT, that is where my worries might start.

im not sure exactly what it is the boat is in georgia, all it says is an Evinrude 225 its a blue motor with a red and white ribbon on it? other than that idk.

I had a 1999 Stratos 21 SSExtreme with a 225 evenrude FICHT for about five years. Never had a problem and a very fast boat. Alot of people had problems with the Ficht.
