Anyone have any reports on the flounder around galveston ferry? Are they like dead silent or still running?

Few of my friends told me its the hotspot for flounder and planning to go there this sunday.

I always see the people around the landing when I come back across from Bolivar and someone always has a flounder but usually not many. Too many people in such a small spot.

good luck on finding any mullet this weekend and yes its a nice place to fish but just way too many people cramp in in a small space.

I understand that part. Took the total of nearly 2 hours just to get 1 mullet for bait last Sunday. It will be a pain but maybe my "spot" has some mullets. Hopefully.....

Glade to hear its a nice place but to much people in a small location sucks. Thats why I only went to Seawolf once....

Mullet is good but I have seen more action on Gulp swimming mullet in chartreuse or yellow this year than any other bait.

I've done well with the Gulp shrimp as well as DOA Terroreyes and other soft plastics on 1/4 or 3/8 oz heads.
