I had the pleasure of fishing with Ron and Richard yesterday on a half day trip. We started with crappie but they were a little slow so we switched to whitebass for a couple of hours, after limiting on whites we went back to crappie fishing and it was on. Ended up with 32 keepers with 2 over 2 lbs and some other real nice ones. roberts in the early 90's was my favorite crappie lake. we used to fish the timbers north of lone oak road (pecan creek park) and it was deadly! would catch 100 in a few hours with very few throwbacks. now its the other way around. dont understand it.

Its called pressure. Back in them days not nearly as many people crappie fished this lake like they do today. Yep back in the early 90's we would catch limit's of 2 lb plus crappie.
