Went out Sat. afternoon for a few hours mostly to run the boat, its been setting up for a while, got into a school of 2 -3# bass chasing shad caught 8 in a matter of 15 min. then the sandies moved in, lost count on them but some nice size to them. All in all not a bad afternoon when the main objective was to run the boat for a while.

Yes sir, on a couple of cast caught 2 at time with a crank bait. The boat is paid off, had to build the wife a new house this summer so maybe I can start saving up for a new FX in a couple of years. That Skeeter is more at home on Toledo it gets cranky on these lakes around here.

It was an absolutely beautiful day out there! I think I talked to you and loaded next to you at the deep end marina ramp (I was in the Dodge/Triton rig).
My day was similar but with only two largemouths on back to back casts then lots of sand bass. They were very large sand bass at least.
