Unplug the transducer and try turning the unit on again. I have seen when the transducer is out, it pulls too much power for the unit to stay on. Also checkthe voltage and make sure that it is getting 12+volts and not less than 9.5..

24V???? I have a Lowrance with GPS and if my voltage drops below 10V, it will act realy weird and flash like crazy, all kinds of jobberish. keep batteries charged above 12V and i never have a problem.

Yea above 18 Volts and they will get crazy and then the little puff of smoke is released from the unit and it's dead.

Yep and it's real hard to get that smoke back in it.

ha ha....24v. That might have turned it into an electroshock unit. Might want to check with TPWD, Corps of Engineers Fort Worth Distric, and LCRA, as well as TRRC. There might be a special permit you need to operate it.....LOL LOL LOL

you sure it's "been running on 24 volts?"

if so, you haven't hurt it, because it has an overvoltage protection circuit that turns it off if voltage exceeds some threshold, probably 17 or 20 volts or so.

hook it up to one 12V battery, and let us know if that works.
