Has anyone ever used or heard of using squid for bait? I was told by a old catfisherman that it worked really well and would stay on the hook well.

I've never used it but since you brought it up I wonder if you could stuff it with punch bait and slice it up to put it on a single hook? hmmm?

Yes, drifted some on Tawakoni in summer ......nada! Did well on shrimp though. Threw rest away and stuck with proven baits.
