 Lowrance HDS - number of trails permissible.

The Lowrance website HDS 'spec' sheets say that there is a limit of 10 trails with 12,000 points per trail.
Is this a typo? Most older units can hold 100 trails.

I think they increase that while back on a update, but I will double check that for you monday or tuesday.

Lowrance HDS units can store more than 10 trails with HDS. The way that we show the specification is Up to 10 trails up to 12,000 points/trail. This means that HDS can hold up to 120,000 trail points total. We can break this down to 100 trails at 1,200 points if we want or 20 trails at 6,000 points, etc.

That a far cry from older units. LCX units allow 100 trails at 10,000 points/trail for 1,000,000 points total.
This just doesn't seem right for a unit with tons of GIGS, but I accept your answer.
