New member here, neighbor wants to put out juglines, but during the day. Will this work? What depths? Baits? Thanks in advance for any replies Billy

Depends where your fishing.. But it's better right at dawn and dusk.
Find the bait and fish below, usually works.

I made some juglines up two smummers a go and used them on Martin Creek lake in the day time. But I quit using them when the weather got hot, because it seemed every fish I caught was dead and glassy eyed when I pulled up the line. Didnt matter what bait they hit ( I used soap, vanilla shrimp, and night crawlers).I usually fished in 10 to 25 foot deep water and kept the bait anywhere from 1 to 10 feet off the bottom. And I was out there watching the lines. It might take me a little bit to get to them because I was trying to fish from a 20' pontoon boat by myself. I was figuring it had something to do with the thermocline and the water temp and oxygen content. But I eventually quit using the jug lines. Got rid of the pontoon boat too. Now trying to get rid of the one ton chevy van with the blowed up motor I used to pull the pontoon boat. Any takers??
