I was looking for ideas on building jugs and came across your posts. I have a few questions...

1. Is the 2" pvc enough to float the jug or do you have some type of foam around it?

2. How much weight did you end up using?

3. If you use the can weights, will your jug stay upside down?

Just my 2 cents here.
I see everyone talking about the concrete weights, I took a walk along the railroad tracks an got some spikes for weights on my jugs. I am not sure how much they weigh, but they keep my jugs in place. Just a thought

I think you should consider using 1 strip of reflective tape on the "no fish on" side, and two stripes on the "Fish On" side. This will allow boaters to more easily see this in the night. It will also allow you to sopt the jugs at night with a light regardless of wether they have been hit.

Last year when I was still juggin, I picked some white tape up in the paint department at Wal-mart...
