 shad on lewisville?

Where do you catch shad on lewisville? Last weekend i tried around the big cut in the old damn and only caught 2 shad after a few dozen throws.

What time of day? I fish Lewisville early in the morning and have no problem catching shad from the shoreline until around 11am or so. After that, they so become scarce.

Go thru the big cut into the old lake and go north till the shoreline turns rocky. Big gizzards are close to the rocks and plenty of them.
Clean up...
