I was out last Friday and had thirteen in the first hour and fifteen min, then had too leave for work my buddy caught another twenty five before he got off the lake. we had twenty in the boat together.

I will agree that the hype is kinda funny, but it is a fun lake to fish. The advantage it has over all other lakes is that the fishing pressure is much lower. The lake is only fished three days a week and only 9 hours each day. And the lake is small, which increases your odds of catching a lot of quality fish. I dont think there are many people who go to Squaw Creek and get skunked, but there are tons of people who fish Fork and get skunked. I like Fork because of the challenge, but it can beat you down. Not real sure about Monti or Welsh. A friend and I will be fishing with a guide on Monti this Sunday.

Does anybody know if alcoholic beverages are allowed while fishing at Squaw?

I've had some of my finest days at Fork drunk fishing Glade.

It is close enough for me to drive over and fish and then drive home. That is why it interest me more than Fork. I wish Fork were closer...

This thread sure did get a lot of hype from me just saying its booked for the weekend lol.

SQC is less than an hour from us. Perfect.

Oh and for the drinking and boating... Stupid. Plain old stupid.
