Yes, they are. I went fishing today and caught 25 keepers in 22-26 ft of water around the bridges with double jigs. It sure is fun this time of year on the great lake fork.

Which bridges are good right now? Got an rv to stay in near axton's bass city but never did any good on that bridge. Caught a bunch on 514 but never have fished 515.

I went out Sunday for a few hours on the main lake and caught a bunch of sandies and yellows but just 5 good solid keeper crappie...I was catch sandies two at time on jigs. I've never done that on Fork but times have changed the sandies are there now!

I love the 154 bridge, and yes the sandys are getting bad here on fork. I think that is why ray roberts is going down hill, the sand bass never stop eating!!!!

Be prepaired to get spooled, I caught a 9.2oz. on 2946 with a 1/16 oz jig and 6lb. test last weekend.I also caught a 1/2 a crappie just before that.

I've got my order of Jigum Jig's today and I'm ready for a week of Crappie fishing at Fork...Last week I hit the grand slam with at least one each. I may have had a big girl pull a crappie off just before I could see her because she was there then gone just like that...
